Legacy

Born in 1942, Manny Schwartz was a man from humble beginnings in New York. With his brother, Manny began a glass framing business in 1963 and saw its potential growth into shower doors. Throughout the 1970s and 80s, this business grew into the Quality Enclosures known nationwide today. Before retiring in the 1990s, Manny was known as a leader and business owner who knew every employee on a first name basis, treated the men and women around him like family, and was proud to see his sons Michael and Steve continue and grow the family business.

Manny passed away in 2018, but his legacy of operating a business based on family traditions and values lives on. In 2022, Quality Enclosures instituted a holiday to commemorate Manny's birthday. On the second Monday of every October, Quality Enclosures honors his belief of "family first" by giving every employee a paid holiday.
